Wildwood Nature School is a charitable, independent, nature-based primary school for children aged 4-11 years in North London. We offer an alternative to mainstream education with a strong focus on children’s well-being and spending time in nature following the Forest School principles.

We opened our doors in September 2023 with 16 children, aged 4-7 years. We’re growing slowly each year to reach a maximum of around 30 children total. The children spend their days playing and working together in mixed age groups, with at least half of their time outdoors in nature. We have 4-5 teachers working with them each day, as high adult:child ratios ensure we can deliver on our values and ethos.
